Kids, this is a blog of how your mama met me. I realized that years from now, you will probably ask me that question. But I am afraid that by then, I may be too old to remember some of the parts, be it good or bad. So I am trying to write them all down. So here it goes. How your mama met me.

Been a long time since I really got some distance down and today seemed like a good day to do it. It was certainly a challenge for me considering my lack of fitness. But oh wells!

Finally got something planned out. Since the video issue has scuppered our plans to bring Skate4Hope overseas, we’re going to have to do it local. But since we’ve already done 100km.. we decided to up the ante. We’re going to go 200km. That’s right. Some hardcore stuff coming your way. =)

Sometimes, I look at the lives of others as described on FB and I realize two things.

a) I don’t give a flying fuck.

b) I actually do.

In the same breath I say that S4H 2010 was a highlight of my life, I also say it has been quite a disappointment.

I feel kinda bad skipping class just to do my essay. But… Hmm.. oh wells.

I’m starting to feel a sense of irritation. Mixed with a tad of depression and paranoia.

Just a quick update. It’s always so frigid cold here. I have no idea when was the last time I experienced warm weather. LOL. Think I’m meant for a warmer climate. Cause right now I really cannot stand the cold. LOL. Well I am looking forward to home but until the school releases the exam schedule I have no idea when exactly. It’s funny how they do the exam schedule almost as an afterthought. =S But yeap.. that’s Canada for you.

Hi Kids,

mrs.ious: the sound of a heart breaking

I’m currently collaborating with Agnes on the proposed Poetry collection. So decided to take the time to rework one of her poems.

This is the original post.

mrsious:

Do you remember,
The splash of water on the curb,
When the wheels of a car passed over the road on a rainy day?
We were in that car

Or do you remember,
The rip of sold out concert tickets,
Then the doorman would say,’enjoy the show’ ?
You got us those tickets miraculously at the very last…

This is my re-visioning.

Recall,

We were in that car.
Splashing
As we drove
In the rain
Towards a skyline
Greying

Recall.
That sound of precipitation
Precipitating the beating of our hearts
And as they fell,
Pitter-patter
On the hood of the car
So did we
Helter-skelter
Out of love.

Recall.
